Format: Shotgun, Two-person Scramble

Scramble Rules

1. Both team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot you like the best.

2. The other team member will pick up their ball and place it within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the shot you liked best.

   • If the ball you choose to play is in a sand trap or rough, you cannot drop the ball outside of the sand trap or rough even if it is within one club length. 

3. Each team member hits their next shot from the spot they chose.

4. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. 

5. Putts must be taken within a club head of the ball you like best (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score. 

   • Putts within the shaft, not the grip, are gimmes

Other Playing Rules

1. We will play from the back tees

2. Mulligans can be purchased up until 5:00 pm FRIDAY, November 21st

   • When using your mulligan, it must be announced BEFORE taking your next shot

   • A mulligan can only be used by ONE player (only one person’s shot can be retaken)

   • It is up to the teams paired together to keep track of mulligans

   • The mulligans must be used before your round is over

   • Mulligans cannot be used to take off strokes from your team’s final score

5. Double-bogey max scores for each hole

6. Putter SHAFT length gimmes (when your putter head rests in the hole and your ball is within the length of the shaft before your putter grip)

7. Closest to the pin will be on hole #11

8. Longest drive will be on hole #6

9. WINNING PLAYOFF: the top two teams will compete in a winner-take-all playoff on hole #17

   • Tie-breaker if more than two top teams: EAGLES = +3 points, BIRDIES = +1 points, PARS = 0, BOGEYS = -2, DOUBLE-BOGEY = -4

   • If both teams tie hole #17, we will continue to hole #18. If both teams tie hole #18, we will have a putt-off at the 18th green
